GeodeticSurveyingPhilippines.com started only in December 2008 but it’s offline beginning can be traced back to the early 1980s.
After three decades of government service, Engr. Ildefonso M. Bacala established Bacala Surveying Office in Iligan City, Mindanao, Philippines to offer all kinds of land surveys to cater to the needs of the local community. The geodetic surveying firm also did electro-mechanical construction surveys of large companies in the city and surrounding areas. Hydrographic surveys of ports belonging to several coastal industrial companies in the area were also commissioned.
Engr. Artemio M. Bacala is the current chief Geodetic Engineer of GeodeticSurveyingPhilippines.com. He is a licensed Geodetic Engineer of the Republic of the Philippines with License No. GE03614 issued on August 8, 1989.
Among his awards is the Outstanding Geodetic Engineer of Region X of the Philippines.
Engr. Bacala is the first Geodetic Engineer in Mindanao who is an accredited Lecturer in AUTOCAD by the GEP Academy.
He has served as a member of the Regional Board of Directors and later as Regional President of the Geodetic Engineers of the Philippines, Regional Division X.
